From idea to decision: Premisey's five steps
Premisey is not a single “generate report” button; it is five separate steps, each working on the output of the last. Below is what each step does and what it leaves behind; for detail you can move to its own page.
Idea clarification
We do not generate a report the moment you type your idea
The analysis of a half-formed sentence stays half-formed. First we understand what you actually mean through questions written for your idea; only then does the research start.
- Four to six questions written for your idea: who you sell to, how you earn, which problem you solve
- Every question offers “I'm not sure, suggest something” — you never have to invent an answer
- At the end you see the clarified idea and exactly what changed
Validation report
A nine-section assessment, sourced and honest
Is there a market, who tried this before, what did they earn, where did they stumble — all in one report. Next to every number sits a label saying where it came from.
- Four separate scores: market potential, competition, feasibility and fit with you
- Real competitors, by name: their revenue, what users complain about most, the gap they leave
- One verdict at the end: Viable · Risky · Not viable — with its reasoning
Positioning & value proposition
The answer to “why wouldn't they buy?”
Most ideas die not because they are bad but because they solve a problem that does not bother anyone enough. This section does not defend your idea; it puts the sharpest objections in front of you first.
- Objections ranked by weight, each with a counter-strategy
- The problem you say you solve, turned into a sentence that can actually be tested
- A one-sentence value proposition and your concrete difference from competitors
MVP Blueprint
See your MVP before you build it
If you have decided to go ahead, a second stage begins: what is genuinely essential, which screens are needed, how those screens would look, and a build plan paced for you.
- Must-haves and what can wait, side by side
- Visuals of three to five screens and what each one is for
- Brand identity: logo, name suggestions, colour palette, typeface pairing
Market monitoring
Even if you shelve it, we keep watching the market
An idea that is too early today can be exactly on time in six months. Or a competitor appears and the door closes. You need to hear about both in time.
- A market scan that runs on its own, weekly or monthly
- News when revenue, trend, a new competitor or a new review changes
- In-app notification and email — together or separately
All five steps are bound to the same rule: a number whose source cannot be shown is not written. If you want to see end to end how the steps connect, take the product tour.
